For filesize related reasons, we’ve gone back from PNG to JPG.

No releases next week due to exams.

Both KMB and Seitokai had some tricky panels to edit (and references we had a hard time researching), so they’ll be delayed a tiny bit.  Clone Stamp is a godly tool, but it can’t solve all of an editor’s problems. Just don’t zoom in too much, and pretend that all blurs are smudges on your monitor.

Both series will get a chapter out this week. We promise. Really.

Also, we’re going to leave the poll open until a few days after we release ch3 of Seitokai, just to give fans of that a chance to come out of the woodwork.

EDIT (07/23/10): Actually…only Kill Me Baby will come out this week. Although Seitokai ch3 is technically done, there are one or two pesky references that we can’t figure out, and we wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving them out or replacing them. Our translator and editor won’t be able to work on anything next week because of exams, but we’re doing our best to at least put out Kill Me Baby v02c01 and all of the omake goodness that comes with it. Sorry to disappoint.

Concerning Kill Me Baby

It has come to our attention that volume 2 of Baby Please Kill Me has been scanned by some kind soul out there (thanks to goda-lei and the rest of you, who comments didn’t show up for some reason). Honestly, I did not think that raws would be available so quickly, which is why we started work on Seitokai no Wotanoshimi. Although it’ll be a lot of work, we here at LLMBAC have decided that we’ll keep translating both series to the best of our abilities.

The problem is: time. It already takes me (Momomeno) a lot more time than you would think just to edit and translate one chapter. Working on both of these series at once would mean that releases from us would be very slow. What we’d like to do is prioritize on one series with regular releases, while having the other series come out every once in a while. This is where we turn for you for your opinion.

Okay, so maybe we took more than two weeks. To be honest, we probably could have gotten it out earlier, but the world is full of fun distractions that like to get in the way. Expect Chapter 3 to come out anytime between tomorrow and two weeks from now.
